We were referred to Michelle by some friends who had a great experience buying their first home with her. I'm so glad we took their advice. We had never bought a home before, and we had a strict budget to work with. Michelle was unendingly patient with us throughout the entire process, always willing to explain and re-explain concepts with which we were unfamiliar. She never pressured us to make an offer on a home that stretched our budget, and she even counseled us against doing so on several occasions. Michelle worked hard -- literally burning the midnight oil -- to put together offers on several homes we thought we wanted to bid on, then was incredibly gracious and encouraging when we changed our minds at the last minute and elected not to submit the offer (this happened more than once, and to her great credit, she never complained). When we finally did make an offer on a home, it was a run-down bank-owned fixer-upper, and to make it all work, we needed to go for an FHA loan. Undaunted by the many challenges that lay ahead, Michelle gave us terrific advice at several crucial junctures, developed creative strategies to get us through significant obstacles, successfully negotiated the purchase price downward from our offer during contract, managed multiple parties and documents with level-headed aplomb, and went the extra-mile for us on occasions too numerous too describe here. It ended up being a ridiculously complicated transaction with many more moving parts than we could have foreseen. We're convinced that there's no way we would have been able to close on this house without the benefit of her dedication, skill, and experience, which she always discharged with a friendly good cheer that made her a delight to work with. It's the perfect home for us, and we're so thankful for her excellent representation and sound advice. |

Michelle Williams was a great ally to have in buying our first home. Her process, honesty and attention to detail lead me to highly recommend her. Let me say first off that I am inherently leery of all real estate agents. Yet, Michelle felt down to earth and trustworthy.
She did things the right way, guiding us through our desires and means to buy the home we wanted. She was available at all hours, even when she went on vacation (we told her not to turn her phone on, but she didn't want us to miss out). When it came down to the negotiations, Michelle provided sage advice. It resulted in us landing our home when there were 14 other offers, including 2 which were higher than ours! |
